indo ao terceiro dia de shows... na entrada da cidade não podia deixar de pegar essa placa... ainda não acredito que eu fui...

pois bem, terceiro dia de shows, do alto da rua de cima do Lgo do Rosário tirei essa foto do palco (qse não dá p/ ver... pudera, que ladeira...)

Paula Santoro, foi uma das pouquíssimas apresentações que teve músicas cantadas, a maior parte foi mesmo instrumental, mesmo assim foi bem bacana, parece que ela já fez parcerias com alguns famosos em algumas músicas... grande estilo...

que belo pôr-do-sol já indicava o grando momento que viria... a terceira apresentação foi justamente aquela q eu não deveria ter perdido na sexta. ainda bem que o tempo colaborou dessa vez... sem chuva.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band... os caras que estão desde os anos 50 em New Orleans... e tem site: http://www.preservationhall.com/2.0/ - e tem muita coisa sobre eles na net: Banda lendária, hoje com cinco décadas de história, a Preservation Hall mantém vivo o mesmo espírito sob o qual nasceu: manter vivo o jazz que era ouvido no início do século 20 em New Orleans. Com músicos de idades entre 31 e 88 anos, a Preservation Hall apresenta sua melodia sempre com improvisação, em performances com uma energia própria e contagiante.

Isso era só o começo... eu estava gravando esse show, do nada o som deles fez todo mundo levantar e ficou um monte de gente dançando na minha frente... não deu p/ gravar tudo, infelizmente... mas o que foi gravado está muito bem registrado... o que não deu certo, bom... fica na memória...
